Goalkeeper Zackory Campagnolo has been named to the U.S. U-20 Men's National Team roster for an upcoming international training camp in Bansko, Bulgaria. The camp, led by coach Gus Teren, serves as preparation for 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup qualification, and follows Campagnolo's recent appearance at a UEFA U-19 Friendly Tournament in Wrexham, Wales.
The call-up comes just days after Campagnolo helped lead Colorado Rapids 2 to the Western Conference Championship in MLS NEXT Pro. He was also previously called up to the U.S. U-19 Men's National Team for an international training camp in Marbella, Spain, where the team posted wins over Germany, Japan, Northern Ireland, and Belgium.
Campagnolo's national team involvement has been extensive throughout the year. He joined the U-19s in early September for a domestic training camp in Fayetteville, Georgia, and in October appeared in two matches for the U-18 team at the UEFA Friendship Cup, where the squad finished first.
In total, Campagnolo has earned 19 caps across multiple youth national teams, including time with the U-20s, U-19s, two appearances with the U-18s, one with the U-17s, four with the U-16s, and three with the U-15s, and he has been called up to camps with each of these age groups over the past five years. He made his international debut with the U-15s at the 2022 Torneo delle Nazioni in Italy, facing Slovenia, Italy, and Portugal, and earned Man of the Match honors in the Match against Italy. In October 2023, he was called up to the U-17 World Cup in Indonesia. At the club level, Campagnolo, 19, has been a fixture for Colorado Rapids 2 since his 2024 debut, making 31 appearances with 30 starts and logging 2,701 minutes in his MLS NEXT Pro career. He is two appearances away from tying the Rapids 2 club record for goalkeeper appearances, and his 107 saves already stand as the most by any goalkeeper in club history.
Campagnolo signed his first professional contract with Colorado on March 1, 2025. At the conclusion of that two-year deal, he will join the first team as a Homegrown player on a contract running through 2028, with club options for 2029 and 2030.
Earlier in his career, while with Orlando, Campagnolo trained with Sporting CP in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2022, and with FC Schalke 04 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
